Wings and Wheels
Croatia Stage 0 – Fri 15th May 2015 – Dubrovnik Airport to Dubrovnik (24 Km)
Left cold, wet, Gatwick behind me at 9:10 am and arrived in Dubrovnik (about 24 degrees) almost 3 hours later. What a relief to retrieve my bike from oversize baggage unscathed, then find a quiet corner of the airport to re-assemble it and discard the cardboard box.
It was hard to contain my excitement as I set out on the 25 Km ride to Dubrovnik city, feeling fit and rearing to go on my big adventure. Rolling along at last!
