Spending an extra day in Leiden to ride around the Leiden Lakes was well worth doing … a feast of windmills, lakes and boats. Overnight rain had left the paths wet, but by 9:30 am the sun made a welcome appearance so I set off on a most enjoyable ride around the canals and lakes near Leiden. Recommended.
