Colourful Taipei

How good it was this morning, taking my time over breakfast, another cup of tea, another cup of coffee, leisurely stroll around the neighbourhood, no need to go through the normal routine of packing up and rushing to get on the road. Somehow you always feel super relaxed after the end of a bike tour, savouring the experience, satisfied at your accomplishment.
Discovering by chance a different, vibrant, new area adds to the joy of being a tourist in a city like Taipei. Wandering around aimlessly, I stumbled upon the fabulous Ximen District and the ultra modern, attractive, shopping area near Taipei Cinema Park. Creative wall art added even more colour to an already colourful city.
No need to even go searching for a cardboard bicycle box this time, because the hotel where I am staying kindly stored the one I used on the flight from Sydney. The hotel has booked my airport shuttle for tomorrow night’s midnight flight back. I am sure I will have no trouble sleeping on the plane!
Life is an adventure for sure and you have had an adventure never to be forgotten!!
